PE days
2AT - Wear your PE kits on *Tuesday* and Friday (sports coach).
2VB - Wear your PE kits on Tuesday (sports coach) and *Friday.*
Children should wear plimsolls on day indicated with * as we do indoor PE in the hall.
Children are now allowed to wear their PE kit to school on the days that they have PE. Please ensure your child has the correct PE kit which consists of a white t-shirt, navy shorts and plimsoles or trainers. During the colder weather your child should wear the School PE jumper.
If your child has to attend an event such as Mass or go on a school trip, they will be required to wear their school uniform on that day. PE kit should be brought to school and children will change for their PE lesson accordingly.
If your child has a club before school, uniform should be brought to change into, once the club has finished.
If your child has a club after school and it is not a PE day, uniform should be worn as normal and PE kit should be brought to change into before the club begins.
Homework
Homework will be sent out every Friday and due the following Tuesday. Each week children will alternate between two CGP books, including:
- Reading Comprehension
- English Grammar and punctuation
- Maths Arithmetic
- Maths Reasoning
We encourage children to be using Mathletics, Times Table Rock Stars and Lexia consistently throughout the year. Logins can be found in the front of homework books. Please copy these down so you have them at home. These are great tools to supplement learning.
Spelling
Children will receive new spellings each Friday and be tested the following Friday. Please practise these words throughout the week by saying them, writing them and using them in sentence
